Corazon Aquino 1933-2009: The Saint of Democracy

She once became woman of the year in 1986 in a cover in Time Magazine for toppling the Marcos dictatorship and restoring democracy in the Philippines. Today, Cory Aquino is Time Magazine cover once more for Asia. The only difference, the first time was when she lived for glory and greatness while the second time was when she died to glorify democracy and become the magnet of the people’s trust.
